Bliss

I want to stop time. I don’t then want to go backwards, and I resent the future. Bliss is holding me in her embrace, she kicked out my loneliness and banished any pain from within me. Ah! The warm embrace of bliss wraps around my waist, pulling me tightly into a comforting hold. An aroma of joy, sunshine and beauty holds me, promising to never let me go, but everything must end, even a promise… even love… even bliss.

Picking up my phone to see that you are still ignoring me, it hurts bliss, weakening that tight, warm embrace. Losing my motivation is an attack on bliss, keeling over as that pain returns. Not picking up my phone calls allows loneliness to drag bliss away… drag MY bliss away.

I want to stop time. I don’t then want to go backwards and I resent the future. Let nothing happen for a while. Just me and bliss, a warm embrace and an aroma of joy sunshine and beauty.
